90 Second Short Film Ideas

My first idea for the short film was to have a man standing on the edge of a building or bridge and have a voice over for a couple of seconds saying he'd done something bad and he needs to escape it. When the voice over is finished the camera would zoom into the blue section of his eye and fade into the sky then pan down to street level where the story of how he got to being on the edge of the building would start. The story could be how he accidentally killed a family member or had taken part in some crime with his friends and now regrets it.

My second idea was to have a 90 second video of scenery and have a voice over done by several people describing their experiences with depression both with themselves or those around them. This would be more of a documentary film than any other kind. The shots would include a mix of nature and urban scenery such as trees in the wind, ripples in a pond, rain dripping down a window, a time lapse of a busy road and a derelict house.

My third idea was to start the film with an intense, darkened close up of a man's face as they explain how they are going to painfully hurt the other person and make their and their family's life hell if they don't give them his money whilst tense music plays in the background. When he finishes talking, the camera will cut to a little girl holding Monopoly money standing in front of the game board with an astonished look on her face.
